Built in 1941 as a military base during WWII, San Antonio International Airport (SAT) became a commercial airport in 1953 and sits on 2600 acres of land. This medium sized airport serves Texas’ second most populated city and is a Texan hub for domestic and Mexican travel.

The Alamo The Alamo Mission is a Spanish mission best known as the location of the historic Battle of the Alamo. Today you can see the Alamo Church, live reenactments, and tour the grounds. River Walk Set just below street level, restaurants and stone pathways line the San Antonio River in what is known as the centerpiece of San Antonio. Take a stroll next to the river, eat at one of the many restaurants, or enjoy a relaxing river cruise through this San Antonio staple. Pearl District This historic district is known for its trendy restaurants and cuisine. On the weekends you can find a farmers market with vendors who travel as far as 150 miles to be there. The Pearl District is also home to one of three Culinary Institute of America campuses.
