The Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN) is located in Hailey, Idaho and is named after S.J. Friedman, the town’s first elected mayor. Documentation shows the airport being in use as early as 1916. A majority of aircraft operations at SUN are for general aviation and air taxi.

Short and long term parking is available for a daily maximum of $12 per day.

Wood River Trail The old trackbed of the Grand Union Railroad became a 20-mile multi-use path through the Wood River Valley. The trail offers stunning views of the area and is lined with interpretive signs describing the history of the area. Sun Valley Resort Home to world class skiing and olympic skiers, there are over 75 runs on mountains with a staggering 3,400 feet of fall line terrain. Ice skating rinks are open year round. Ernest Hemingway Legacy The famous writer spent his summers here and would come to write, fish hunt, eat, and drink. Visitors can get an itinerary of locations related to and visited by the famous author during his time in Sun Valley.
