Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) is two miles east of Downtown Palm Springs and has been recognized as one of America’s most stress free airports. It first opened as a US Army air base in 1930 and began commercial flights in 1955. Today, PSP handles about two million passengers each year.

Moorten Botanical Garden This family owned botanical garden has been around since the 1930s. It is home to over 3,000 different types of cacti and desert plants on the one acre grounds. Cabazon Dinosaurs These 100 ton picturesque dinosaur sculptures once welcomed visitors to Palm Springs on the way to a diner. Today they guard the entrance to a creationist themed dinosaur museum.
