The Round Up

Los Angeles

Alexander Calder Exhibit at Hauser & Wirth

Opening night: October 27; runs through January 6

Swing by this Hauser & Wirth exhibit, dedicated to the pioneering artist Alexander Calder. Works will fill the South Gallery, central open-air courtyard, and planted garden with thirty stabiles, mobiles, and standing mobiles. After taking in the art, stop by Manuela. The on-site restaurant rotates its menu seasonally — pulling much of its ingredients from the garden and chicken coop located right on Hauser & Wirth’s grounds.
